'Show Me The Money 12' has finally come to an end after weeks of intense competition captured in 12 episodes to pick the ultimate champion.
On April 2, the final winner was revealed. Out of a record-breaking 36,000 applicants, Haon from Team Zico x Crush claimed first place, solidifying his status as a new icon in the hip-hop scene.
NOWIMYOUNG took second place, followed by Tray B in third, MILLI in fourth, and Mason Home in fifth.
With this victory, Haon adds another major title to his name, having previously won Mnet’s 'High School Rapper.'
During his acceptance speech, Haon said, “Ever since I decided to join 'Show Me the Money,' this very moment was the only scenario I had in mind. I want to give all the credit to Zico and Crush for helping me get here through all the ups and downs.” He added, “I love my mom and dad, who came to support me, and my brother at home as well. Please continue to follow my journey.”
Haon’s parents were also present at the live broadcast to witness his victory. They broke into tears as he was announced the winner, and he walked over to present them with a bouquet.
He continued, “You must have been very worried when your 18-year-old son said he was going to drop out of school, but thank you for trusting me. Please continue to believe in me and watch over me.”
Meanwhile, as the final winner, Haon takes home the grand prize of 100 million KRW (approx. 66,215.52 USD).
