Hwasa has unveiled a charming vintage look inspired by Audrey Hepburn, just one week ahead of her comeback.
On April 2, Hwasa shared several photos on her social media along with the release date of her new digital single, 'So Cute.' In the images, she is seen escaping from the driver’s seat of a completely wrecked car. Dressed in a brown polka-dot long dress paired with white kill heels, lace gloves, and a wide-brimmed hat, Hwasa evoked Audrey Hepburn’s iconic style from the film Roman Holiday.
In another set of photos released alongside, Hwasa showcased a short haircut while wearing a pure white corset-style lingerie tank top with a long skirt, highlighting both an innocent and glamorous aura. As the images were revealed, netizens expressed their admiration with comments such as, “I can’t help but hold my breath while looking at her,” and “Even if the car is wrecked, I’d still want to sit next to Hwasa.”
Previously, Hwasa appeared in a teaser for the web variety show 'Salon Drip 2' on March 31, where she talked about her unique sense of fashion from a young age. “I think my outfits were always very colorful. I used to wear cheap sunglasses that cost 1,000 to 2,000 KRW,” she said. She added, “I even wore a garter belt with a denim-on-denim outfit. I think I was in my first year of middle school at the time,” drawing surprise.
Meanwhile, her agency P Nation announced on April 1 that Hwasa will release her new digital single 'So Cute' on major online music platforms at 6 PM on April 9. This marks her return approximately six months after her previous release, “Good Goodbye,” which came out in October last year.
