SM project girl group GOT the beat reveal 'Step Back' stage video

SM Entertainment project girl group GOT the beat have revealed their stage video for "Step Back".

GOT the beat is the first unit from the label's Girls on Top project, and they performed their debut stage at 'SMTOWN LIVE 202: SMCU EXPRESS' on January 1. The members of the project girl group include BoA, Girls' Generation's Hyoyeon and Taeyeon, Red Velvet's Seulgi and Wendy, and aespa's Karina and Winter.

The song sounds like a bunch of songs that were mixed together to create one song. It’s a mess. I know I’m going to get down voted for this but the song is horrible. The girls look amazing but the sound is a mess.

Ugh, SME has such great ideas and such great artists and this could’ve been a truly big moment for them with this group, but like please tell me this is not the main song they’re choosing to promote. It’s so…dated. We’re past the era of telling some woman to step back from her hypothetical man or step back from the spotlight. There could’ve been a better song and honestly, it could’ve been an empowering moment for impressionable women and young girls, but then SME chose this. 😒 I mean everyone looks great I guess.
