JYPn introduces 6th trainee Haewon, netizens say her singing voice resembles Baek Ye Rin

JYP Entertainment's girl group trainee channel JYPn recently revealed a brand new, 6th member for the first time ever, Haewon. 

In her first 'Qualifying' cover video, Haewon sang a serene cover of Stephanie Poetri's "I Love You 3000". While listening to Haewon's soothing cover, many netizens felt that a familiar voice came to mind - former JYP Entertainment artist Baek Ye Rin!

Many left comments like, "I hear Baek Ye Rin's voice", "This is the textbook example of the 50% tone, 50% air that they stress at JYP", "She's the real ace of the team. Her tone is amazing", "Haewon was always famous for her soothing voice", "Her voice is so pretty, it reminds me of Baek Ye Rin", and more. 

Meanwhile, JYPn has revealed a total of 6 girl group trainees so far, beginning with Jinni, then Jiwoo, Kyujin, Sullyoon, Bae, and now, Haewon. 

JYP Entertainment is expected to debut its brand new K-Pop rookie girl group in February of 2022.
