On the November 30 airing of YG Entertainment boy group survival program 'YG Treasure Box', the 4 'Treasure' groups performed live in front of Yang Hyun Suk and various YGE producers during their monthly evaluation.
Each of the 'Treasure' groups including group A, B, C, and J worked endlessly to perfect their monthly evaluation stages. Although the groups performed as a team, it was revealed that each trainee would be evaluated on an individual level in order to determine the top 10 members who would earn the title of the 'Debut team' for this week.
First, 'Treasure J' performed iKON's "Killing Me":
'Treasure C' followed with a cover of SHINee's "View":
'Treasure B' boldly took on BTS's "GoGo":
And finally, 'Treasure A' came together for Wanna One's hit song "Energetic":
After Treasure J's powerful "Killing Me" performance, Yang Hyun Suk named Japanese trainees Haruto and Mashiho as the first two members of this week's Debut team. Next, Papa YG chose Park Jung Woo and So Jung Hwan of Treasure C.
The members to join this week's debut team from Treasure B, after a rigorous practice process, were Wang KUn Ho, Ha Yoon Bin, and Park Ji Hoon. In Treasure A's case, the teammates suffered from shocking news as it was revealed that trainee Lee Mi Dam, who ran away from his dorm in the middle of practice, ultimately decided to drop out of the competition altogether. The Treasure A members were forced to bid goodbye to their teammate in tears, with practice still under way.
Finally, the members of Treasure A to join this week's Debut team included Bang Ye Dam, Kim Jun Gyu, and Kim Seung Hoon.
Next week, the 28 remaining 'YG Treasure Box' trainees will be tackling a brand new mission to determine the first 5 members who will secure a spot in the very final Debut team. YG Entertainment sunbae group Black Pink is also expected to make a guest appearance.
