Rapper Dok2 recently drew attention by sharing old social media posts in which he expressed admiration for singer Lee Hi over a decade ago. This comes after reports revealed that the two have been in a relationship for five years.
On March 31, Dok2 posted on his social media, writing, “from my old tweet,” and shared a photo of his past posts. The image included tweets from 2012, showing his long-standing fondness for Lee Hi. On January 8, 2012, he wrote, “Lee Hi is the best.” A week later, on January 15, he tweeted, “Once again, Lee Hi is the best.” On March 11, 2012, he also posted, “Lee Hi #1, the best lol.”
The couple recently became the subject of dating rumors, which ultimately revealed that they have been together for five years. Following the rumors, Dok2 and Lee Hi held a live session to promote their music. During the session, they shared affectionate moments with each other, although they did not answer fans’ questions about their relationship directly.
After the live session, Lee Hi shared a photo with Dok2 on her social media and wrote in English: “It’s been a long journey, and finally today has come. Happy birthday to my man DOK2. And 808HI! This is our celebration. Let’s play our music and celebrate our beginning together.”
Dok2 also shared multiple photos with Lee Hi and captioned them, “BIG TO MY LADY and HAPPY BORN DAY 2 ME. Are you all listening well? More songs coming soon. DOK2, LEEHI "YOU & ME" OUT NOW.” Through these posts, the couple effectively confirmed their romantic relationship.
Lee Hi recently ended her contract with duover entertainment and co-founded the hip-hop and R&B label 808 HI RECORDINGS with Dok2. On the same day that the dating news surfaced, the duo released 808 HI RECORDINGS’ first single, “You & Me.”
