Big Bang's Taeyang has announced his comeback.
On April 1 at midnight KST, the artist dropped a teaser image with an extended excerpt titled 'QUINTESSENCE.' The writing expresses, "The word that stayed in my mind. And the word that is most needed for this generation. I put myself into this process completely - my love, my joy, my passion - but sometimes I had to face my own madness along the way."
He continues to introduce the album's meaning, which is tied to his search for the meaning of "QUINTESSENCE," and shares how it shaped the production of the album.
Meanwhile, this marks Taeyang's solo comeback in approximately 3 years since the release of 'Down to Earth,' released in 2023.
