San E uploads a counter diss track '6.9cm' directed at Jerry.K's response to 'Feminist'

Rapper San E uploaded another controversial track in response to Jerry.K.

Titled "6.9cm", the song is a 'diss rap' towards Jerry.K's "No You Are Not", which was a reaction to San E's controversial song "Feminist". San E's first track (from November 16th) deals with the rapper's thoughts on feminism and peripheral social issues, after posting a real-life captured video of Korean men and women fighting over the issue of sexism.

To Jerry.K's rap, which basically states that San E is "not" a feminist, San E's "6.9cm" states:

"Jerry.K, thank you so much, thanks to you I got this chance to explain
I saw your Instagram. There's no human who deserves to be hit, but
Jerry.K, you deserve to be hit, in these early hours in the morning

I know fellows like you very well. I thought of you after writing my song.
In your song, you say that men are feminists but actually in the rap lyrics
there is no real respect for women in your shameless heart."

And furthermore, San E raps:

"I don't give a f***
WOMAD is poison; feminist no
They are mental illness
Jerry.K, you are WOMAD b****boy
6.9cm that's your d*** though"

What do you think of this ongoing controversy?

When you can't prove you are right so you just attack the other person.

Well you would assume that at least some wouldn't attack with baseless assumptions, and the best diss being "b****boy"

No, the diss is saying his dick is 2.5 inches long. Which is basically no diss at all.

The dick size thing is a reference to a common insult that Korean feminists make about men.

You know someone lost an argument when they start dissing the size of their opponent's baggage instead of logic and reasons.

From what i know WOMAD is a radical "feminist" movement, and i understand San E's hate towards it (i still don't like San E's "feminist" song), but to write a song centered around going personal is just pathetic.

I agree with you if my comment sounded like i hate feminism, i am sorry. But yeah San E's first song just sounds like a childish outrage, and it seems he acted on impulse. But this response is just utter garbage from him. And again I sound like someone who tries to defend him and i am not trying to. And to think that this came out after a group of men beat 2 women almost to death because they thought they are feminist, is outrageous.

sad to see this community also being like the typical media sheep, who always attack the one stating facts, only because they cant accept it...

none of the ones crying about him here, care one bit about equality and only use the word feminist to get some attention, showing that youre so disgusting and even shit on all real victims yourself, because thats how it is nowadays with the most pathetic piece of shits, the one and only thing they care about in their sad lifes, is attention...no matter who suffers, no matter the truth, as long as you trash get some attention, you will deny every fact, that will take your chance away for some attention...

You should really educate yourself. Gender equality is really behind in places like Korea due to a remaining cultural adherence to stereotypical gender roles (lingering Confucianism). Instead of just attacking an idea without doing any research, you should really look into Korea's social issues before feeling like you are qualified to provide an opinion that should matter.

The thing is...the concept of gender equality these days really has amount to special privileges more than "equality." Everyone sees it. Is there a mandatory military service for women in Korea? I don't think so. Ask yourself, why is "equality" so important? What rights do men have that women don't have? And if there are rights that men have that women don't, why do women want those same rights? And will they be held accountable on the same level as men? I see hashtag "believe all women" but isn't that sexist towards men who can (and often are) victims of false allegations, getting cucked, sexual assault themselves? The point being, is that people should grow up and stop worrying so much about this ideal concept of "Equality". It will never exist the way people think it should in this world. In order to be treated as "equal" one must first see themselves as an equal otherwise no matter how many concessions are made to make them feel better, they will never be satisfied. This is what we see today. Apologies, doors opening, more opportunities, voices are heard, celebrities are speaking up, TV, music, the education system is all favoring equality and yet people still aren't satisfied.

gureumcloud Saturday, November 17, 2018 0

"Believe all women" is obviously taking it too far. There are going to be terrible within any group of people. And rather than making mandatory military service for women, the better solution would be to not make it mandatory for men. But in the case that that is absolutely not an option, sure, I do believe both genders should be held to the same standards.

The reason people aren't satisfied is because there is still a lot of resistance and things are getting much better, but they are not where we could be. Also, I find your logic problematic. Just because it will likely never be perfect, doesn't mean we shouldn't strive to make things better. Progress stagnates if you get complacent, this applies to anything in general.
