1. Gyeongju

Nicknamed “The Museum Without Walls,” Gyeongju is packed with historical landmarks. It was once the capital of the ancient Silla Kingdom and is home to UNESCO World Heritage sites like Bulguksa Temple and Seokguram Grotto. If you’re curious about Korean history, this is the place to start.

2. Jeonju
