K-Beauty Dupes: Get The High-End Glam for Less

AKP STAFF

As K-beauty continues to gain popularity, numerous brands are consistently releasing innovative products. While many of these items are visually stunning, they can also be quite expensive. To help you achieve the perfect glam without breaking the bank, we've compiled a list of affordable K-beauty dupes for you to explore.

1. HERA Lip Gloss: Now everyone raves about HERA's lip gloss, saying it's one of the smoothest formulas, plus the shade range is just absolutely to die for, but for thirty dollars a piece, well let's just say it's quite the splurge. But a perfect dupe for the HERA lip gloss is none other than Romnd's juicy lip tints! You get the gloss and the beautiful shade range but at half the cost!

2. SKII Pitera Essence: By far one of the most expensive essences around, roughly costing about $200 to $300, depending on where you are. At this cost, this is quite a luxury product. But fear not! You don't have to splurge so much to get a good essence; in fact, many K-beauty vloggers have raved about the following "I'm From Mugwort Essence" or even the "COSRX Advanced Snail Mucin Power Essence," which is a third of the cost, yet still gives you the perfect hydration and dewy skin!

3. Laneige Cream Skin Toner and Moisturizer: The milky toner swiftly became a sensation in the beauty world, and since its debut, several more affordable alternatives have emerged. Two notable options worth considering are the "I'm From Rice Toner" and "Tony Moly Wonder Ceramide Mochi Toner," both offering similar benefits at a slightly lower price point.

4. Sulwhasoo Renewing Emulsion: Sulwhasoo is well-regarded for its ginseng-infused products that cater to mature skin by targeting fine lines and signs of aging. However, purchasing the entire line can be quite expensive. A more budget-friendly alternative is Etude House Moistfull Collagen Emulsion. Both products contain the essential ingredient Vitamin E, and remarkably, they share a total of 21 common ingredients! Opting for Etude House Moistfull Collagen Emulsion allows you to experience similar skincare benefits without breaking the bank.

5. Sulwhasoo Gentle Cleansing Oil: Double cleansing, which begins with an oil-based cleanser, is widely recognized as the key to achieving the best skin. While Sulwhasoo's cleansing oil is often hailed as one of the top choices, those seeking a more budget-friendly alternative can opt for Innisfree's Hydrating Cleansing Oil with Green Tea. This cost-effective option still delivers impressive results without compromising on quality.

Discovering a dupe is always a welcome find, as it can be challenging to continually splurge on high-end skincare and beauty products. By identifying affordable alternatives, you can maintain your beauty regimen without breaking the bank. Don't you agree?

Innisfree Green Tea line is iconic, I was using it like 10 years ago and their serum is one of my favs. Yoona unnie and now Wonyoung are great models for the brand too. Their aloe is also my fav and it is not 99% aloe but like 92% or something - or at least used to be, didn't buy it for some time as I can't get I can't get it locally anymore. (It is funny that both Wonyoung and Yoona are/were Innisfree models and both are Miu Miu girls).

SK-II and Sulwhasoo are great but you can find better for less.

LANEIGE is overrated and not worth it.

You can make rice serum at home and use it both for face and hair.
