Former T-ara member Soyeon shared a heartfelt message of faith while residing in Dubai as tensions in the Middle East continue to escalate.
On the 3rd, Soyeon posted a photo on her social media featuring a Bible verse that read, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
Her message came amid growing regional instability following recent military clashes between the United States, Israel, and Iran. Reports indicate that the conflict began after the United States and Israel launched a preemptive strike aimed at disrupting Iran’s alleged support for anti government groups and its nuclear development program.
Iran has since carried out retaliatory attacks, heightening tensions across the Middle East. Foreign ministers from several Gulf countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Bahrain, have reportedly held emergency meetings and strongly criticized Iran while warning of possible military responses.
As concerns spread throughout the region, fans have expressed worry for Soyeon’s safety, as she currently resides in Dubai. She moved there after marrying professional footballer Cho Yu Min in November 2022. The couple relocated when Cho Yu Min joined Sharjah FC in the UAE league in 2024.
