EXO’s standalone reality program ‘EXO’s Travel the World on a Ladder’ premieres on March 4 KST.
Season 5 of ‘EXO’s Travel the World on a Ladder’ follows the group on an unpredictable trip to Jeju Island decided through a ladder game. Starting with the first episode released today at 8 PM, the show will run for six weeks, airing every Wednesday on Mnet and Wavve.
In the premiere episode, EXO begins by upgrading the previously relaxed rules through a ladder drawing game. With the results determining their fate, the members set off on their Jeju Island trip, where they enjoy a seafood feast under a playful “mini class system” at the dining table and visit a theme park that brings back childhood memories.

The group also takes on a liar game during a break in their schedule. The members create their own penalties and quickly begin suspecting one another, jokingly accusing someone with comments like “Your eyes look suspicious.” One particularly unlucky member even complains, “Maybe Jeju just doesn’t suit me,” adding to the episode’s comedic moments.
Throughout the trip, the members express their enjoyment of being together again, with one remarking, “It’s definitely more fun when we’re all together,” highlighting their strengthened friendship. The show also features playful role play situations based on “ladder age,” creating additional humorous scenes.

Meanwhile, ‘EXO’s Travel the World on a Ladder’ Season 5 will also be released simultaneously on overseas OTT platforms including KOCOWA+ in the Americas, Europe and Oceania, U-NEXT in Japan, friDay Video in Taiwan and True Visions Now in Thailand. Each episode will later be released sequentially on the YouTube SMTOWN Friends channel one week after its initial broadcast.
