Stray Kids have achieved another major milestone, as their music video for “Chk Chk Boom” surpassed 200 million views on YouTube.
Released on July 19, 2024, as the title track of their mini album ATE, “Chk Chk Boom” reached the 200 million mark on March 31. With this achievement, Stray Kids now have a total of eight music videos that have exceeded 200 million views, following “God’s Menu,” “Back Door,” “Thunderous,” “MANIAC,” “S-Class,” “LALALALA,” and “CASE 143.”
“Chk Chk Boom,” written and composed by the group’s in house production unit 3RACHA Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han, delivers a message of confidence and determination in aiming for one’s goals. The track stands out with its Latin inspired hip hop rhythm, addictive loop, and distinctive top line and lyrics.
The music video also drew global attention for its high production value and powerful performance, further boosted by appearances from Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids recently earns RIAJ Platinum streaming certification in Japan for “MANIAC”.
The group also kicked off their sixth official fan meeting, “Stray Kids 6TH FANMEETING STAY in Our Little House,” on March 28 and 29 at Inspire Arena in Incheon, with additional shows scheduled through April 5.
