NOWZ has officially set its sights on Japan.
On March 4 KST, NOWZ released their first Japanese EP ‘NOWZ’ through various global music platforms. Ahead of the album’s release, the group made a powerful first impression with the performance video for their new track ‘AMMO (feat. YRD Leo).’
True to its title, the performance video captures the dynamic intensity of a bullet slicing through the air at high speed. Striking visuals, including laser effects aimed as if targeting someone and glass shattering in sync with the members’ gestures, heighten the impact. Japanese rapper YRD Leo, who features on the track, also appears in the video, creating standout synergy with the members.
The choreography for ‘AMMO (feat. YRD Leo)’ was crafted by Monika of dance crew PROWDMON, drawing additional attention. Having previously demonstrated strong stage presence through tracks such as ‘EVERGLOW,’ ‘Problem Child,’ and ‘HomeRUN,’ NOWZ is expected to captivate fans with an even more refined and high intensity performance in ‘AMMO.’
The group’s first Japanese EP ‘NOWZ’ includes five tracks in total: the Japan original song ‘AMMO (feat. YRD Leo)’ as well as Japanese versions of fan loved releases ‘HomeRUN,’ ‘GET BUCK,’ ‘In the World Without a Name,’ and ‘Fly Freely.’ The EP highlights NOWZ’s wide musical spectrum that transcends genres.
Following the EP release, NOWZ will begin full scale local promotions starting on the 5th, including appearances on Japanese broadcasts, media interviews and fan events. On the 28th, they will hold their first fan concert, ‘Run with me, NOW,’ in Korea, continuing their active promotions both domestically and abroad.
