Min Hee Jin, CEO of ooak Records, has shared a collection of anonymous gifts she recently received.
On March 17 KST, Min posted several photos on social media showcasing items that appeared to be gathered from different countries, including handwritten notes. Messages such as “It reminded me of a record shop in Vancouver, Canada” and references to items like propolis and refrigerator magnets suggested a thoughtful, globally curated set of presents.
Alongside the images, she wrote, “I don’t even know who you are, but I wanted to say thank you this way,” expressing her sincere gratitude to the unknown sender.
Meanwhile, Min remains at the center of ongoing legal disputes with HYBE. She recently won the first trial in a lawsuit seeking stock option payments, with the court ruling that HYBE must pay approximately 25.5 billion KRW(~17 million USD). HYBE has since filed an appeal.
Further legal proceedings are also scheduled, including a damages lawsuit involving ADOR and parties connected to former members of NewJeans.
Despite the disputes, Min Hee Jin has moved forward with launching her new label, ooak Records, where she is currently preparing a new boy group.
