
Singer and actress Kim Se Jeong is set to part ways with Jellyfish Entertainment after a decade.
The announcement was made during her fan concert ‘2026 Kim Se Jeong Fan Concert in Japan’ held on March 14, where she personally shared the news with fans.
Reflecting on her journey, Kim said, “The time has come to say goodbye to Jellyfish, which I’ve been with since my teenage years. It’s been a decade full of ups and downs, but also truly happy moments. I believe I was able to become who I am today because of Jellyfish.”
She added that her next agency has yet to be revealed, keeping fans curious about her future path. “As I close this 10 year chapter, I want to thank Jellyfish for all the memories we’ve built together,” she said, becoming emotional during her farewell message.
Kim Se Jeong first gained recognition through Mnet’s 'Produce 101', where she finished second and debuted with project group I.O.I. She later continued her career as a member of Gugudan before successfully transitioning into acting.
Her acting credits include popular dramas such as 'The Uncanny Counter', 'Business Proposal', and 'Moon River' solidifying her position as a versatile entertainer.
