‘Cool tone goddess’ Winter has been revealed to actually be a spring warm tone.
On the 17th, a video titled “Tone Breaker” was released on aespa’s official YouTube channel. The video shows Winter visiting a professional center for a personal color diagnosis.
In an interview before the diagnosis, Winter said, “I think I’m a spring warm tone,” adding, “I think I look brighter when I wear white or peach tones.”
As the full diagnosis began, a skin tone analysis followed. The expert explained, “A warm base suits you naturally,” and added, “Since your skin tone is bright, when using cushion foundation, I recommend a lower shade like No.17 rather than No.20.”
After several draping tests, Winter’s personal color was diagnosed as ‘spring warm light’, characterized by high brightness and low saturation. The expert added, “Soft tones may make you look a bit pale,” and “It is appropriate to classify you as a spring light type.”
After the diagnosis, Winter also guessed the personal colors of the members. She said, “Jimin unnie (Karina) seems like a summer cool tone,” adding, “Aeri unnie (Giselle) also seems cool toned, and Ningning is definitely a cool tone.”
She continued, “When people said I was a warm tone, I think I strangely wanted to be a cool tone. When I heard ‘warm,’ it made me a bit upset,” adding, “I think it’s because all the colors I like are cool tones.”
At the same time, she said, “Still, I know that spring like colors suit me well.“
