
TWICE's unit MISAMO has taken the Japanese market by storm. Their first full-length album has swept major local charts.
MISAMO released their first full-length Japanese album, 'PLAY,' on February 4. This album marks the end of a trilogy following their debut album and second mini-album.
According to the latest Oricon statistics (dated the 16th), 'PLAY' garnered approximately 80,000 points, topping both the 'Weekly Album Ranking' and 'Weekly Combined Ranking.'
The new album topped Billboard Japan's 'Top Album Sales' and 'Hot Albums' charts (dated the 11th). It also topped the Tower Records weekly comprehensive album chart.
The title track "Confetti" also garnered immense popularity. It ranked first on the "Oricon Weekly Screaming Rise" (dated the 12th).
Meanwhile, TWICE will perform as part of their world tour 'This Is For' at the Tokyo National Stadium on April 25-26 and 28.
