Actress Lee Si Young recently shared a glimpse into her family life as she prepared a birthday celebration for her 9-year-old son, while also revealing the face of her second daughter for the first time.
Lee Si Young posted photos on social media with the message, “Happy birthday,” showcasing a variety of cakes she prepared for her son. The birthday party was first held at his kindergarten, where he celebrated with friends, followed by a second celebration with cakes lovingly prepared by his mother.
In one of the photos, Lee Si Young is seen holding her newborn daughter in her arms while gazing at her son with a warm, affectionate smile. She wrote, “Happy birthday. I love you so much,” drawing attention to the tender family moment. The revealed image of her second daughter quickly caught fans’ eyes, with many noting that the baby strongly resembles Lee Si Young herself.
Lee Si Young married a non-celebrity businessman in 2017 and welcomed a son, but announced their divorce in March of this year. Four months later, in July, she revealed that she was pregnant with her second child after transferring a frozen embryo that had been preserved during her marriage, which sparked widespread public attention.
She later announced in November that she had given birth to her second daughter. Through her YouTube channel, Lee Si Young shared her difficult childbirth experience, explaining that she underwent emergency surgery due to severe bleeding. Her daughter was born prematurely at 1.9 kilograms and was placed in the neonatal intensive care unit, touching many viewers with her candid and emotional story.
