Actors Lee Jun Hyuk and Shin Hye Sun raised anticipation for their upcoming project by revealing matching tattoo phrases.

On the 10th, Lee Jun Hyuk uploaded two photos to his social media without any caption. The images showed the two actors with identical phrase tattoos on their wrists. The tattoo had previously been unveiled at the production press conference for the Netflix series ‘The Art of Sarah,’ and is known to be connected to a key clue in the story.

In ‘The Art of Sarah,’ Shin Hye Sun plays Sarah Kim, a woman who longs to become something luxurious even if it is fake, while Lee Jun Hyuk portrays Detective Moo Kyung, who persistently pursues her desires and true identity. The phrase engraved in the tattoo is said to convey the meaning of “splendid melancholy,” with its significance expected to gradually unfold as the plot progresses.
The two actors reunite for the first time in approximately nine years since their collaboration in the 2017 tvN drama ‘Stranger.’ At the production conference, Lee Jun Hyuk commented, “It feels like meeting a colleague again after living life diligently,” while Shin Hye Sun added, “We feel natural when we are together,” expressing deep mutual trust.

Lee Jun Hyuk also described the role as challenging, saying, “There were difficult points in portraying a character driven by desire. The process of chasing someone while maintaining balance was not easy, but it was meaningful.” Speaking about filming the latter half opposite Shin Hye Sun, he shared that it was filled with “a mix of tension and excitement.”
Fans reacted enthusiastically to the photos, leaving comments such as “The hand size difference is heart fluttering,” “It’s mysterious yet sweet,” and “Is this a hint about the story?”
Meanwhile, ‘The Art of Sarah’ will be released on Netflix on the 13th.
