Jennie showed her thoughtful side by preparing a wave of perfectly matched gifts for her manitto, Dex.
On the February 8 broadcast of 'The Secret Friends Club,' Jennie took on an undercover mission where she had to hide her identity while learning about Dex’s preferences and delivering surprise presents. After teasing a “gift bombardment,” she began with a playful challenge. She opened multiple packs of snacks printed with people’s names, searching for Dex’s real name, Jin Young.
Jennie spent nearly an hour opening snacks and went through an incredible 504 pieces before finally finding one labeled Jin Young. The moment she saw it, she cheered loudly and immediately set off to shop for the next gifts. Since Dex enjoys fishing, working out, and camping, Jennie headed straight to a camping supply store.
During the car ride, Jennie revealed her plan. She said she would do things her own way, buy camping gear and figures, get many gift boxes, spray them with plenty of perfume, and give the perfume as the final gift. She made it clear she wanted to truly impress her manitto.
At the camping store, Jennie looked amazed while browsing. Although she was there for Dex, she made everyone laugh by admitting she wanted some of the items for herself.
For the self described camping lover Dex, Jennie chose a winter camping chair, a chair cover, and a multi purpose knife. She smiled with satisfaction and said she felt good buying such nice gifts. She then visited a figure shop for anime fan Dex. Spotting a random box containing secret figures, Jennie quickly bought several and said confidently that there was no way he could dislike them.
After finishing her shopping for camping gear and figures, Jennie stopped by Daiso for wrapping supplies. With six gifts to prepare, she filled her cart with boxes and completed the self checkout. Jennie shared that she now had the name snack, figures, a camping chair, chair cover, umbrella, and knife, making six gifts in total. She admitted she felt both excited and nervous, wondering if she would get the reaction she hoped for. Viewers were left eager to see how Dex would respond to Jennie’s thoughtful and ambitious surprise.
