Former 4minute member Heo Ga Yoon has candidly shared the reasons behind her move to Bali and the difficult period that led to her decision.
Heo Ga Yoon appeared in the preview for next week’s episode of tvN’s 'You Quiz on the Block,' which aired on the night of February 4, drawing viewers’ attention.
In the teaser, Heo Ga Yoon revealed, “This is my third year living in Bali,” as she spoke openly about why she left Korea. Reflecting on her life back home, she said, “I was once caught up in something like school violence, and I chose to just endure it.” She went on to confess, “I couldn’t tell anyone that I had a binge eating disorder. I kept eating until my stomach hurt so badly that I had to stop,” prompting Yoo Jae Suk to react with visible concern.
Heo Ga Yoon also spoke tearfully about losing her older brother in 2020. “My brother suddenly passed away,” she said, adding, “My parents told me that if you’re gone, we want to follow you too.” It was reported that her brother had suffered from a chronic illness, which worsened and ultimately led to his death.
Previously, Heo Ga Yoon had spoken about the loss of her brother on the Sebasi Talk YouTube channel, where she explained the struggles and how his death changed her views on life.
The episode of 'You Quiz on the Block' featuring Heo Ga Yoon will air on February 11.
