VIXX's long-awaited comeback is getting closer, as VIXX's Hyuk has just completed his military service.
On January 17, Hyuk was officially discharged from the military, after serving as a social services worker since April 2024. He greeted fans with a heartfelt message, saying, "I did my best each day, remembering my promise to fans that I would return healthy - both physically and mentally. This experience gave me the opportunity to reflect on myself and grow as a person. I will be returning to you with various activities, so please look forward to it. I sincerely thank you for faithfully supporting me even while I was away."
Hyuk is set to meet with fans through a special livestream on January 20, marking his first time communicating with fans since his military service began.
VIXX is also reuniting for their first full-group activity in 7 years, with their upcoming fan concert 'Case No. VIXX'. The fan concert will take place on February 21-22 at KBS Hall in Seoul.
With Hyuk's return, VIXX is also expected to begin preparations for their long-awaited comeback.
Meanwhile, VIXX's most recent comeback took place in 2023, when the group released their EP 'Continuum' featuring the title track 'Amnesia.'
