The King of Ballad returns. Park Hyo Shin is set to release new music this March.
On the 23rd, a representative from his agency, Herbigharo, told a media outlet in a phone interview, “Park Hyo Shin is currently preparing a new album with the goal of making a comeback in March.”
This has raised anticipation over whether he will finally unveil a new full-length album for the first time in a decade. Park last released a studio album in July 2016 with his seventh full-length record, 'I Am A Dreamer.'
Since then, he has remained active through OSTs and single releases. In 2024, he sang “Hero” for the soundtrack of the film 'Firefighters' (directed by Kwak Kyung Taek), and later that year released the jazz track “Winter Ahead” in collaboration with BTS member V.
Back in 2023, Park also previewed the unreleased song “ALICE” during his fan meeting 'STPD 2023 Going Home,' where he hinted at his eighth full-length album. At the time, he told fans, “The thoughts that had been drifting around are starting to come together, so I’m preparing. I really want to show it to you soon. I’ll let you hear it soon.”
Regarding the upcoming release, Park Hyo Shin’s agency added, “The exact release date and album details have not yet been finalized. We will provide an update once everything is confirmed.”
