EXO member and actor D.O. (Do Kyung Soo) has candidly shared the amount he gave as a wedding gift to Kim Woo Bin and Shin Min Ah.
On January 23, a video featuring EXO members Suho, Chanyeol, Kai, D.O., and Sehun, who recently made their comeback with the release of their eighth full-length album 'REVERXE,' was uploaded to the YouTube channel Halmyungsoo.
The episode was filmed as a skit under the concept of “Myungsoo Company” and captured the members engaging in frank and relaxed conversation. The members played roles of being members of a company with Park Myung Soo as the director.
During the episode, the five members sat down for a meeting where Park Myung Soo asked a few questions. While engaging in a conversation with D.O., Park Myung Soo asked, "Were you able to attend Kim Woo Bin and Shin Min Ah's wedding?" to which D.O. replied, "I did attend the wedding."
Last year, EXO took the stage at the Melon Music Awards (2025 MMA), marking their first award show performance in about eight years and signaling a high-profile return.
At the time, D.O. drew attention for attending the wedding of his close friends Kim Woo Bin and Shin Min Ah on the same day, fitting the ceremony into his packed performance schedule. Due to his tight timetable, D.O. was reportedly unable to stay at the venue for an extended period.
Park Myung Soo continued to ask, "Were you able to find out if D.O. attended?" to which D.O. replied, "He did too." Park Myung Soo candidly asked, "Do you know how much he paid as the wedding gift?"
The rest of the members were surprised that Park Myung Soo asked D.O. directly how much he gave as a wedding gift, but were also curious. Pressing for specifics, Park questioned whether the amount was in the 100,000 KRW (~68.97 USD) range or closer to 1 million KRW (~690 USD). D.O. responded honestly, revealing that his gift was in the 1 million KRW range.
He also shared that he had originally planned to sing his solo track “Popcorn” as a congratulatory performance at the wedding.
Although he was unable to perform it at the actual ceremony, D.O. surprised viewers by singing “Popcorn” on the spot during the filming, showcasing his smooth and emotive vocals.
