ONF will be parting ways with WM Entertainment while continuing their group activities.
On January 27, WM Entertainment shared an official statement via social media, announcing, “Our exclusive contract with ONF will come to an end on January 29. This decision was made after a long period of discussion.”
With this, ONF brings their eight-year partnership with WM Entertainment to a close. However, the group will continue promoting under the name ONF without disbanding.
The agency stated, “We will not spare any cooperation and support needed for their future activities,” adding, “We will continue to cheer on the members as they soar to new heights.” ONF debuted in 2017 with their first mini album 'ON/OFF.' Since then, they have released tracks such as "We Must Love," "Beautiful Beautiful," and "Why," building a steady presence in the industry.
Last year, the group released their second full-length album 'ONF:MY IDENTITY.' With the title track "The Stranger," ONF earned their first No.1 trophy on a terrestrial music program, taking first place on KBS-2TV’s 'Music Bank.'
