Singer Sung Si Kyung shared a heartwarming update featuring actress Cha Joo Young, drawing attention from fans.
Sung posted on his personal social media account, writing, “Meeting Cha Joo Young this evening at 6 p.m. — beautiful, honest, and full of charm.”
He added, “She said she likes things raw, so instead of cooking, we went to a seafood market. Her movie Sister opens tomorrow. She recently underwent a major surgery that she had been postponing for a while, so please wish her a speedy recovery,” along with a photo.

Meanwhile, Cha Joo Young recently announced a temporary hiatus from activities due to health issues. On January 25, her agency Ghost Studio stated through its official social media channels that the actress would be unable to attend scheduled public appearances and activities for the time being.
The agency explained that Cha had been suffering from recurring nosebleeds over an extended period and had undergone detailed examinations and treatment. Following medical advice, she proceeded with an otolaryngology surgery that could no longer be postponed. The statement added that she is currently in the recovery and observation phase after surgery, making it difficult for her to participate in official schedules, including promotional activities, during her recovery period.
