Fourth-generation performance leaders ONEUS are returning to their roots.
Their agency RBW announced, “ONEUS will release their single album ‘原 (Won)’ on the 20th. This album captures the essence of ONEUS that remains unchanged over time, and we ask for your anticipation and support.”
The title ‘原’, meaning “origin” or “root,” represents the foundation and beginning of ONEUS. Rather than a simple return to the past, the group presents ‘原’ as a narrative of rebirth. By confronting their origins, ONEUS aim to rewrite their story as they move forward toward the future.
On January 6 KST, ONEUS unveiled the logo motion for ‘原’ through their official social media channels. The video features a crescent moon emerging from darkness and gradually transforming into a full circle, symbolizing a journey through confusion toward rediscovering one’s core identity. The imagery has further heightened anticipation for the comeback.
This marks ONEUS’s first release in approximately seven months, following their 11th mini album ‘5x’, released in June last year. Through ‘5x’, the group combined the number “5,” representing the five members, with the variable “x,” symbolizing limitless possibilities, to showcase each member’s boundless potential and individuality.
Recently, ONEUS successfully completed their global tour ‘2025 ONEUS WORLD TOUR “H_OUR, US”’, spanning North America, Asia, and Europe. With their powerful live performances and commanding stage presence, the group further solidified their reputation as one of the leading performers of the fourth generation. Riding the momentum of their world tour, ONEUS are set to ignite another leap forward with their upcoming single album ‘原’.
Meanwhile, ONEUS’s single album ‘原’ will be released on the 20th at 6 p.m. KST across major music platforms.
