Joohoney, a member of the idol group Monsta X, has concluded his run on the web variety show 'Simcheongi' with a meaningful donation ahead of his solo comeback.
Joohoney recently wrapped up his appearance on the solo web variety series 'Good Errand Center - Simcheongi' (hereafter 'Simcheongi'), aired on the YouTube channel 'Camel-Only Road'. Across 12 episodes, he fulfilled various errand requests to resolve neighbors' concerns and share warmth.
In the final episode, the artist introduced his upcoming work, stating, "My second solo album is coming out after two years and eight months." He referred to his new record '光 (INSANITY)', scheduled for release on January 5. To conclude the show, he fulfilled a final mission to bring the total amount of collected "Gongyangmi" (devotional rice) from 293 bags to 300 bags.

Ahead of Christmas, Joohoney participated in a volunteer event packing "food kits" for vulnerable neighbors, including households led by grandparents and seniors living alone. He personally packed 30 kits and reflected on the meaning of service while talking with fellow volunteers.
During the event, a student offered encouragement, mentioning that they enjoyed his pre-release track 'Push (Feat. Rei of IVE)', which was released on December 22. Joohoney expressed his sincerity toward the volunteer work, saying, "I felt a sense of pride while packing the kits."
Following the packing session, he delivered the food kits and the 300 bags of rice, which are valued at approximately $9,000 USD (based on current market averages). He shared encouraging words and handwritten letters with young adults preparing for self-reliance and visited children's welfare facilities such as 'Group Home' and 'Hye Myeong Mayville' to inspire their dreams.

For his contributions, Joohoney was honored with a certificate of appreciation, marking the end of his journey with 'Simcheongi' that began last October. He shared his thoughts, stating, "The past moments are passing by like a panorama, and it feels great to receive this certificate. Meeting various people has broadened my perspective as Lee Joo Heon. This is such a warm program that I hope it receives even more love."
Through his agency Starship Entertainment, he added, "I felt lucky to encounter this program and learned so much. I am grateful to the staff and MONBEBE for their support. I want to continue sharing a positive influence through my activities."
Joohoney will officially launch his comeback with the release of his second mini-album '光 (INSANITY)' on January 5, 2026, at 6:00 PM KST.
