On December 31 KST, MBC ‘Gayo Daejejeon’ was held in South Korea.
Among the idols who presented special stages at the award show was ILLIT’s Wonhee, who covered IU’s iconic song “Good Day,” known for its triple high note.
The following day, IU took to the global fan platform Berriz to wish her fans, UAENAs, a happy new year. During her visit, IU replied to a fan asking if she had watched Wonhee’s cover of “Good Day,” to which she responded, “I saw it!! Both her singing and her facial expressions were really great 🥰.”
Meanwhile, “Good Day” was released in 2010 as part of IU’s mini-album ‘Real.’
