ENHYPEN has ranked No. 1 as the most influential artist of the week on the U.S. Billboard chart.
According to the latest chart dated January 31 released by Billboard on the 27th (local time), ENHYPEN topped the Artist 100 chart. This marks the first time the group has reached No. 1 on the chart, which ranks artists based on a comprehensive formula including album sales, streaming, and radio airplay.
ENHYPEN’s 7th mini album “THE SIN : VANISH” debuted at No. 2 on the main album chart, the Billboard 200. The album also swept No. 1 across detailed charts including Top Album Sales, Top Current Album Sales, and World Albums, leading the group to top five different Billboard charts in total. The title track “Knife” ranked No. 1 on World Digital Song Sales and also entered the Global Excl. U.S. and Global 200 charts.
Billboard noted that the tracks from the new album recorded a combined 9.51 million official on-demand streams, setting a new personal best for the group. With this achievement, ENHYPEN has now placed six consecutive albums in the Top 10 of the Billboard 200, starting from their 3rd mini album “MANIFESTO : DAY 1” through their latest release. Their No. 2 debut was reportedly just 1,000 units behind U.S. rapper A$AP Rocky’s album.
Sales figures at home and abroad were also strong. ENHYPEN sold over 2.07 million copies of their 7th mini album in its first week, achieving their fourth career double-million seller. The group also topped Japan’s LINE Music Weekly Album Chart and Oricon Daily Album Ranking, demonstrating their strong presence in the Asian market.
Meanwhile, ENHYPEN will hold a fan event titled “VAMPIRE IS COMING” on the 30th at COEX Auditorium in Seoul. The event is designed for the group to watch chapter films from the new album and communicate with their fandom, ENGENE. Following Seoul, the event will continue in Hong Kong on the 31st and Tokyo on February 14.
