Over 700 million votes were cast as the winners of the fan voted ‘The Awards X UPICK Popularity Award’ were revealed, with ENHYPEN and BABYMONSTER taking home the Best Male Group and Best Female Group titles.
In the Best Male Group category, ENHYPEN emerged victorious after an intense battle with BTS, earning approximately 760 million votes. BTS followed closely with around 742 million votes, while ZEROBASEONE placed third with about 669 million votes.
The Best Female Group category saw fierce competition between BLACKPINK, aespa, BABYMONSTER, and QWER. BABYMONSTER claimed the top spot with roughly 148 million votes, followed by aespa with 141 million, and QWER with 131 million.
The Awards X UPICK Popularity Award will continue with the final UPICK Global Choice announcement on the 29th. Meanwhile, the second edition of The Awards is set to take place on February 11 at Hwajeong Gymnasium at Korea University in Seoul.
