New boy group ALPHA DRIVE ONE has set a significant new record.
On January 12, WAKEONE’s newly debuted group, ALPHA DRIVE ONE, released its first mini-album, 'EUPHORIA.' The album recorded 1.1 million sales on its first day and reached a cumulative total of 1,433,965 copies during its first week on the Hanteo chart.
With this achievement, 'EUPHORIA' now holds the second-highest first-week sales for a debut album by a K-pop boy group in Hanteo history, trailing only ZEROBASEONE’s 'YOUTH IN THE SHADE,' which recorded over 1.8 million units.
Additionally, ALPHA DRIVE ONE has become the fourth K-pop group to exceed 1 million first-week sales with a debut project, joining ZEROBASEONE, RIIZE, and &TEAM. It also stands as the second-best-selling album among Korean artists on Hanteo in 2026, currently following ENHYPEN’s 'The Sin : Vanish.'
Meanwhile, ALPHA DRIVE ONE - consisting of members Leo, Junseo, Arno, Geonwoo, Sangwon, Xinlong, Anxin, and Sanghyeon - was formed through Mnet's survival program 'BOYS II PLANET,' officially debuting on January 12 with the mini-album 'EUPHORIA.' The album boasts a total of six tracks, including the pre-release single "Formula," the title track "Freak Alarm," "Raw Flame," "Chains," "Never Been 2 Heaven," and "Cinnamon Shake."
