ALLDAY PROJECT's Annie has asked fans to refrain from using her university email address after it was leaked following her return to Columbia University.
Recently, Annie addressed the issue during her "Study With Me" livestream session, where she was working on her school assignments alongside fans. During the broadcast, she spoke openly about the situation surrounding the exposure of her school email address.
"I have something to talk to you about. Honestly, I know it’s really easy to find my school ID," Annie said. “But if you send emails to my school address, it becomes very difficult for me to find messages from my professors or important emails sent by the university.”
While acknowledging and appreciating fans’ affection, she added, “All the emails I receive there are full of kind words, and I’m grateful for that. But if you want to say something to me, I’ll be able to read it if you leave it on Dayoff (official fan platform for ALLDAY PROJECT) or anywhere else.”
She reiterated her request carefully, saying, “If you send messages to my school email, it becomes too hard to sort through school-related emails, so I’d really appreciate it if you could send them elsewhere.”

Annie also spoke about the possibility of encountering fans on campus. “If you know my school email, that probably means you know my school schedule too. If you see me at school and say hello, I’ll say hello back,” she said. However, she also asked for understanding, adding, “There may be times when I’m really not in the best condition, so I hope you’ll understand in advance.”
Keeping the mood light, Annie made a humorous suggestion to fans: “If you want to see me, you should study hard and get into Columbia University,” she joked.
She went on to say that if any of her fans were to enroll at Columbia, she would even give them her class notes, continuing her friendly and open communication with supporters.
Annie is the granddaughter of Shinsegae Group honorary chairman Lee Myung Hee and the eldest daughter of Shinsegae President Chung Yoo Kyung. She is currently majoring in art history and visual arts at Columbia University, an Ivy League institution.
Having recently returned to school, Ani is set to attend the spring semester through May. During her academic term, the other members of ALLDAY PROJECT plan to focus on various individual activities to minimize the group’s hiatus.
Previously, when announcing her return to university, Annie explained, “I was told at the beginning of last year that I couldn’t extend my leave of absence any further, so I discussed it with the members and the company in advance and made the decision.”
She added, “I have exactly one semester left. I earned a lot of credits earlier, so if I complete just one more semester, I’ll be able to graduate.”
