Actress Kim Shin Rok has confirmed her appearance in MBC’s upcoming drama 'Fifties Professionals,' marking her return to the small screen as a prosecutor driven by an uncompromising sense of justice.
MBC’s new series 'Fifties Professionals' follows the story of three men who may appear ordinary but once wielded real clout, only to be set in motion again by fate. Though worn down by life and the world, their loyalty and instincts remain intact. In the drama, Kim Shin Rok takes on the role of Kang Young Ae, a prosecutor fiercely guided by her moral convictions. Determined to put criminals behind bars with her own hands, Kang graduated from the police academy and, in her twenties, rose to become a major crimes unit team leader, proving her exceptional abilities early on. However, after growing disillusioned with the cartel-like realities of state power, she enrolled in law school to gain the authority to request warrants herself, ultimately becoming a prosecutor with an unusual background.
