Model Yano Shiho caught attention during the December 2 broadcast of JTBC’s 'Daenokko Two-House Life' when she revealed that she doesn’t meet her husband, fighter Choo Sung Hoon, regularly.

Appearing as a “one-day partner” with MC Jang Dong Min, Yano Shiho explained her participation in the show, saying, “We’ve been married for 17 years. I’m interested in Korean couples and wanted to observe other marriages to reflect on my own life.”
When asked if Choo Sung Hoon had joined her on the show, she replied, “He’s really busy. We couldn’t come together,” surprising both the host and viewers. Jang Dong Min added humorously that when he asked Choo Sung Hoon where his wife was, the fighter responded, “I don’t know; we don’t contact each other.”

Yano Shiho clarified, however, that they do stay in touch occasionally. “We don’t talk for long, but we check in with light calls often,” she said. She also mentioned that their child, Sarang, helps them stay connected, noting, “Because Sarang talks to her dad every day, we also check in through her.”
She described her marriage with Choo Sung Hoon as “freestyle,” highlighting that their relationship works differently from conventional expectations, yet maintains a caring bond despite busy schedules.
