SHINee’s Minho reveals the title tracks the group initially avoided but later became major hits

On December 2, a new episode titled ‘SM Visual Center Talks About SM 5 Center EP. 117 Minho Salon Drip’ was uploaded to the ‘TEO Teo’ YouTube channel.

During the episode, SHINee’s Minho shared that there were songs the group had originally been reluctant about. These tracks would later become some of their biggest hits. Minho named "Ring Ding Dong" and "Lucifer" as examples, explaining that SHINee was hesitant to take on these songs at the time.

Comedian Jang Do Yeonreacted by saying, “Both are considered ‘forbidden songs’ during exam season,” referencing how the catchy melodies are known for getting stuck in students’ heads. 

Minho added that within the team, they initially did not think either track was right for them, and that they were surprised by how successful the songs became afterward.
