SHINee’s Key appeared unedited in a newly released YouTube travel video while continuing to remain silent over allegations linking him to the so-called ‘Injection Aunt.’
On December 12, the YouTube channel 'Grandpa Park Myung-soo' uploaded a video titled 'Key, Minho, you should fight a lot during your Dubai trip. It’s nice to see.' The video documents a Dubai trip featuring Park Myung Soo alongside SHINee members Key and Minho.
At the airport, the production staff met Park Myung Soo and said, “Aren’t you going to Dubai today? You have travel companions. Let’s go inside and meet them.” The companions were revealed to be Key and Minho. Upon seeing the lineup, Key reacted by asking, “What kind of combination is this?” The staff explained that the trip would include visits to famous restaurants, shopping destinations, and the desert.
Before boarding the plane, the production team introduced a ‘Friendship Travel Ten Commandments.’ These included rules such as “No asking ‘Are we there yet?’” and “No saying ‘Why did you waste money on that?’” Each participant was also asked to write down their own prohibitions. Park Myung Soo wrote, “No stepping up first,” while Key listed, “No unnecessary calorie consumption, no running, no sighing.” Key explained, “I don’t like exhausting trips,” while Minho insisted on securing time for exercise. Although the staff encouraged them to enjoy the trip without fighting, Minho confidently stated, “We won’t fight. We’re past that age now.”
After arriving in Dubai, the three were shown enjoying meals at local restaurants, shopping, and indulging in a luxurious vacation. The 'Grandpa Park Myung-soo' production team also announced that the Dubai trip would be released as a two-part series, with the second episode scheduled to be revealed next week.
However, reactions from some viewers have been cold. Netizens questioned whether it was appropriate to release such content while Key continues to remain silent regarding allegations connecting him to the ‘Injection Aunt.’
The controversy stems from recent claims that comedian Park Na Rae received illegal medical treatments, including sedatives, antidepressants, and IV drips, from an individual referred to as ‘Injection Aunt,’ identified as A, who allegedly does not hold a medical license. Amid this controversy, circumstances suggesting that A maintained a personal relationship with Key surfaced.
Through social media, A claimed that she frequently visited Key’s home and shared videos of herself with his pet dog. She also asserted that she had known Key for over ten years. Despite these claims, Key has remained silent for five consecutive days without issuing any clarification or statement.
Speculation has also extended to other celebrities, including SHINee’s Onew and singer Jung Jae Hyung. Onew promptly explained that he had only received skincare treatments, while Jung Jae Hyung stated, “I have never met her.” As a result, scrutiny toward Key, who has yet to respond, continues to intensify.
