Singer Son Dam Bi shared an update on her daughter’s condition after undergoing head shape correction, proudly revealing noticeable changes in just five weeks.
On December 12, a video titled 'First Time on a Walker! The Biggest Dilemma at 8 Months Dad vs. Mom, The Moment of Choice | Parenting Vlog | 8 Month Old Baby | Growth Diary' was uploaded to her YouTube channel ‘DambiXon.’
In the video, Son Dam Bi expressed amazement at her daughter Haeyi’s transformation, saying, “It’s been about a month now, almost five weeks, and her head shape has really changed. This part went in, and the back came out. It’s amazing.”
Son Dam Bi and her husband Lee Kyu Hyuk recently began head shape correction treatment for their daughter. Lee Kyu Hyuk explained, “She takes after her dad, so the back of her head was a bit flat, and she also had a cephalohematoma at birth. Her head shape was outside the average range, so we decided to do helmet therapy for about three months.”
As Haeyi continued to grow cuter by the day, Lee Kyu Hyuk smiled proudly and said, “Look at those chubby cheeks,” showing his affectionate side as a father.
Son Dam Bi also joked, “Ms. Lee Haeyi has gained a lot of weight,” while encouraging her daughter to greet viewers. She then shared her busy schedule, saying, “I have filming starting at 10 a.m. today, so I’m going to get ready quickly and head out. My husband also had work early this morning, so he already left. Let’s have a great day.”
In the video, Haeyi warmed hearts as she danced and smiled brightly to her mother’s singing. Watching her daughter happily play, Son Dam Bi said, “This is what my mornings always look like. Haeyi is just amazing. We put the helmet on her, and when we went in for adjustments a few days ago, it marked five weeks. Her measurements were almost within the normal range.”
She continued, “It’s not completely normal yet, but I was so surprised,” before revealing the before and after of her daughter’s head shape. Son Dam Bi added, “At first, she cried a lot, but once she got used to it, she stopped crying. When I saw the numbers, I thought, ‘What if we hadn’t done this?’ I was so happy seeing the improvement. We plan to use it through December and then possibly only during sleep starting in January. We’ll decide then, but her current measurements are really good. I would have regretted it if we hadn’t done this.”
Meanwhile, Son Dam Bi married former speed skating national team member Lee Kyu Hyuk in 2022 and welcomed their first daughter last year. She continues to connect with fans by sharing family moments and parenting updates on social media.
