On the 16th, Park Na Rae addressed the situation through the YouTube channel ‘Baek Eun Young’s Golden Time,’ saying, “I take seriously the concern and fatigue I’ve caused many people due to the issues recently raised. Because of these matters, I have voluntarily stepped down from all programs I was appearing on.” She added, 'I made this decision in hopes of not causing further confusion or burden to production teams and colleagues.' Notably, she did not offer a direct apology.
Regarding the facts of the case, Park Na Rae emphasized that verification is required and stated that she would rely on legal procedures. She also said she would refrain from making any additional public statements or explanations during this process, explaining that she chose this approach so the issues could be judged objectively through official channels.
However, public reaction has remained cold. Several psychology experts commented on Park Na Rae’s demeanor in the video, describing it as a highly controlled speaking style.
According to the experts, this type of delivery involves deliberately closing off each sentence, a method often used in high-stakes situations such as court proceedings or press briefings where speakers must be extremely cautious. Common characteristics include tightly pressed lips, restricted breathing, flattened intonation, and fixed eye contact or limited gestures. By ending each sentence abruptly and momentarily stopping their breath, speakers minimize room for interpretation or follow-up questions. Meanwhile, Park Na Rae has filed complaints against her former managers, alleging workplace harassment, verbal abuse, aggravated injury, proxy medical prescriptions, and unpaid production fees.
In response, Park Na Rae countersued them on charges of attempted extortion. What began as controversy over allegations of illegal medical practices has since expanded, implicating celebrities within her close circle as well.
