Park Na Rae’s team has stated that she will continue all scheduled activities without interruption, following emerging allegations of workplace abuse raised by her former managers.
On December 5, a representative overseeing Park’s management told Ilgan Sports that the entertainer “has not engaged in any legally problematic behavior,” adding that “all programs she appears on will proceed as planned.”
The controversy began on December 4, when accusations surfaced claiming Park Na Rae had mistreated her former managers. They alleged workplace harassment, special assault, proxy prescriptions, and unpaid operating expenses, announcing plans to file a damages lawsuit. The former managers also submitted a provisional seizure application to the Seoul Western District Court on December 3, citing concerns that Park might dispose of her assets.
Park Na Rae’s side strongly refuted the claims, filing a countersuit against the former managers earlier that day on charges of extortion. “The allegations made by former staff members are entirely untrue, and we have submitted a complaint against them,” the representative said.
Park Na Rae debuted in 2006 as part of KBS’s 21st cohort of comedians and rose to prominence through shows like 'Gag Concert' and 'Comedy Big League.' She is currently a cast member on several popular variety programs, including MBC’s 'I Live Alone,' 'Where Is My Home?,' and tvN’s 'Amazing Saturday.'
