On top of the ongoing accusation of workplace harassment and failure of payment, Park Na Rae has been accused of embezzlement by her former managers.

According to an exclusive report by Ilgan Sports on December 5, former managers A and B filed a criminal complaint that afternoon at the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul, accusing Park of violating the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Economic Crimes (embezzlement).

In the filing, they claim Park Na Rae, as the de facto head of her one-person agency Npark, repeatedly diverted company funds for personal use over a long period, using money for purposes unrelated to business operations and leaking funds externally.

They further allege that Park falsely registered her ex-boyfriend C as a full-time employee and paid him a monthly salary for 11 months—from January through November—totaling roughly 44 million KRW (approx. 29,871 USD). They also claim Park transferred more than 300 million KRW (203,645 USD) from a company account around August to help cover C’s housing deposit.

The complaint also states that Park’s mother, who is listed as the CEO of N-Park, received approximately 55 million KRW (approx. 37,335 USD) in salaries over 11 months despite providing no actual labor, asserting she was falsely registered as a full-time employee.

Additionally, the former managers claim Park spent at least 100 million KRW (approx. 67,882 USD) of company funds on personal housing maintenance fees, personal purchases, and other private expenses between January and November of this year.

A and B had already filed a provisional seizure request on December 3 to secure Park’s assets ahead of a civil lawsuit for damages related to alleged misconduct. They accuse Park of multiple illegal actions, including causing bodily harm, workplace harassment, sexual harassment, delayed reimbursement of personal expenses, and obtaining prescription medication through proxy.

Controversy deepened after it emerged that Npark, founded by Park’s mother and effectively run by Park Na Rae for over a year, had never completed the required registration as a pop culture arts agency.

Npark responded on December 5 with an official statement claiming the former managers demanded additional payments equal to 10% of the company's previous year’s revenue after receiving their severance, with the demanded amount allegedly escalating into several hundred million KRW.

The agency also emphasized that the registration lapse was the responsibility of those same managers. It stated that it had only recently discovered the delay and claimed the former staff members had falsely reported that the registration process was complete.

Npark added that any allegations raised by the media would be clarified through legal procedures, promising to confirm the facts and take necessary action. Park has since filed a countersuit against the former managers for blackmail.

Park Na Rae did not respond to Ilgan Sports’ phone calls or text messages seeking comment on the embezzlement accusations.
