Broadcaster Park Mi Sun shared a heartfelt update during her ongoing fight against cancer.
On December 2, Park Mi Sun posted a photo on her Instagram with the caption, "A family trip for the first time in a long while."
In the released photo, Park Mi Sun and her family are seen visiting Universal Studios Japan, one of the country’s well-known tourist destinations. Her family members wore hats, seemingly in consideration of her short hair caused by cancer treatment.
Park Mi Sun expressed her joy, saying they “laughed a lot, ate a lot, and walked a lot” throughout the trip. She added, “I can’t remember the last time we all went to a theme park together,” highlighting how meaningful the moment felt.
Park Mi Sun, who was diagnosed with breast cancer, previously shared on tvN ‘You Quiz on the Block’ that she underwent “12 rounds of chemotherapy and 16 sessions of radiation,” recalling how she experienced peripheral nerve damage, loss of sensation, and even temporary loss of voice during treatment.
She is now reported to be in recovery, continuing medication and careful health management to prevent recurrence.
