Lovelyz member Jin emerged as a hot topic in a popular online community as fans directed their attention to her latest response on social media.
Jin recently responded to a fan's question: "Are you planning to promote again as Lovelyz, or are you done for good? If it's the latter, please say so clearly so fans aren't left hanging." Jin responded through her Instagram story, "I'm done for good."

Jin also left a lengthy explanation about her position regarding Lovelyz's possible full group reunion. She stated:
"To those saying I’m 'using the Lovelyz name,' what exactly do you think I’ve been selling with the group’s name?
I was Lovelyz, and now I simply talk from my own experience while doing the job I have today. Saying that I’m using the group name feels unfair. Am I selling anything illegal? I’m selling organic Bioturm, Olé Shot (olive oil and lemon shots) —things that are good for your body, you idiots. And have you tried the Dubai mochi? It’s so good…
I admit that my past content about idol dating was thoughtless. I realized it could hurt the members who are still active, so I apologized immediately and took the video down. That was clearly my fault.
But criticizing me for my current job and how I live my life—that I can’t accept.
If the feeling is 'I wish you’d promote again, I want to see the full group together,' that’s just wishful thinking. I—who is actually involved—am saying I don’t want to do it. It’s not that I don’t understand where you’re coming from. I still carry a sense of guilt, and when people say 'Please sing again,' or 'We’ll wait for your concert,' I feel more grateful and apologetic than anything.
But if I don’t say this now, I don’t think I’ll be able to: I do not want to continue in the entertainment industry. I won’t, and I have no regrets or lingering attachments. So please stop. I’ve said 'stop' countless times, and seeing this continue makes me want to ask—do I have to die for you to stop? (Of course I won’t die—why would I?)
My life right now is precious to me. My time as a member of Lovelyz and the person I am now—both are truly me."
Jin's latest response to fans asking for her return has drawn mixed reactions online, with netizens being divided in opinion. While some supported the former idol and defended her choice, some netizens expressed that she was being too heartless and harsh to fans.
They commented:
"Fans might dislike that the Lovelyz name keeps getting dragged into personal issues. She’s free to mention it, but the noise around it is understandable."
"Reading through the comments, it seems like she responded because people kept going after her."
"Honestly, the fans causing a scene seem worse… just leave her alone already."
"Seriously, let her be. The group hasn’t used the word 'disband,' but they’re not active. She was asked to clarify her position, and she clearly said she’s not doing activities. Why are people mad?"
"If she doesn’t want to promote with the group, can’t she just withdraw? If a member leaves, Lovelyz fans probably wouldn’t care."
"Seeing how things have unfolded, I can understand the fans’ perspective."
"Who is Jin?"
"I understand what fans are saying, though."
"Didn't Lovelyz members promote something for her?"
"She said she wants to live as an ordinary person. I support her."
"I get where she's coming from, but she's being too harsh to her fans who want to see Lovelyz back as a whole group."
"I think it's better she's honest like this, so fans don't have false hope."
"It's sad, but I think her saying it out right is better."
"I saw her Instagram, and I kind of understand what fans are feeling."
"She wants to use Lovelyz's name but doesn't want to do the work. So gain benefits without hard work."
"Leave her alone."
"I didn't even know Lovelyz had a member named Jin. lol."
