Singer Lim Young Woong’s fan club, Im Hero Supporters, has donated 10 million KRW (approximately $7,500) to the Miral Welfare Foundation to help children with disabilities.

The donation was made through voluntary fundraising by fan club members who wished to support children with disabilities in need of continuous rehabilitation treatment. The full amount of 10 million KRW (approx. $7,500) was delivered to the foundation under Lim Young Woong’s name and will be used to cover medical expenses for a child with disabilities identified as Eunwoo, a pseudonym.
This is not the first act of giving by Im Hero Supporters. The fan club has continued its donations for two consecutive years, demonstrating consistent commitment to sharing and support. In August 2024, to commemorate Lim Young Woong’s eighth debut anniversary, the fan club donated 10 million KRW (approx. $7,500), followed by another 10 million KRW (approx. $7,500) donation in December of the same year to support critical treatment during the golden time for children with disabilities.
Yeon Bora, head of the Gyeonggi branch of the Miral Welfare Foundation, stated, “The ongoing generosity of Im Hero Supporters provides great strength to children with disabilities and their families. We will use this valuable donation responsibly so it can deliver real hope to a child in urgent need of treatment.”
A representative from Im Hero Supporters also shared, “We have continued these donations for the second year in hopes that the love fans have for Lim Young Woong can extend into meaningful acts of sharing. We sincerely hope this contribution will provide practical help to children with disabilities.”
Founded in 1993 with the goal of full social integration for people with disabilities, the Miral Welfare Foundation operates a wide range of customized welfare programs, including medical support for children with disabilities, special education schools, vocational rehabilitation facilities, and group living homes. The donation made in Lim Young Woong’s name will be used in line with the foundation’s mission.
