Actor Lee Junho is closing out 2025 with a string of high profile activities, simultaneously leading Netflix’s ‘Cashero’ to the top of the charts in Korea while continuing his ‘Typhoon Family’ fan meeting tour.
Lee Junho expanded his acting range once again through the Netflix series ‘Cashero,’ which was released on December 26 and quickly drew strong responses from viewers worldwide. Transforming into the everyday, self funded hero Sang Woong, Lee Junho delivered a layered portrayal of a relatable hero.
He carefully expressed the complex emotions of a character torn between personal peace and the greater good, while dynamic action scenes heightened tension and immersion. Lee Junho’s signature attention to emotional detail helped firmly establish the tone of ‘Cashero.’
The series gained rapid traction upon release. As of December 28, ‘Cashero’ ranked No. 1 in the Netflix Top 10 TV series chart in Korea. According to global OTT ranking site FlixPatrol, the series also entered the Netflix Top 10 in 75 countries by December 29, earning widespread international praise.
Alongside the show’s success, Lee Junho continued to connect with fans in person. On December 27 and 28, he held the ‘Typhoon Family Drama Fan Meeting with LEE JUNHO’ in Taipei, Taiwan, meeting local fans following a prior stop in Tokyo. At his second fan meeting of the tour, Lee Junho delivered a well crafted program that highlighted the drama and its characters, complemented by live performances.
Earlier this year, Lee Junho earned broad acclaim through tvN’s ‘Typhoon Family,’ where he portrayed the joys and struggles of youth, resonating with viewers across generations. The drama drove both ratings and buzz, reinforcing his reputation as a reliable hitmaker. His momentum continued at the ‘10th Anniversary Asia Artist Awards 2025,’ where he took home four trophies.
