BLACKPINK’s third Tokyo Dome concert is just a month away, and Japan is kicking off large-scale welcome events ahead of the show. Cities are lighting up their major landmarks in pink, and massive pop-up collaborations are rolling out to boost excitement.

YG Entertainment announced on December 1 that BLACKPINK has launched a special light-up campaign with Kobe Port Tower, running from today through January 18, 2026. The project celebrates the group’s upcoming Tokyo Dome concerts, scheduled for January 16–18, and will expand from Kobe to major towers across Japan with sequential ‘pink light-up’ displays.

In Kobe, the landmark Port Tower and the surrounding waterfront have been transformed into a full ‘BLACKPINK spot.’ The collaboration extends across five key locations as well as local transport and viewing facilities, effectively turning the entire area into a BLACKPINK-themed zone.

The Port Tower’s rooftop deck on the 5th observation floor now features a special photo zone where BLACKPINK visuals continue in sequence. Visitors can walk a circular route, taking photos that connect into one continuous image, an immersive experience designed for fans. Inside the tower, a photo exhibition from the group’s world tour, a collaboration café inspired by BLACKPINK’s signature colors, and limited-edition merchandise have drawn large crowds since opening day.

Anticipation for the Tokyo Dome concerts is also rising. This marks BLACKPINK’s third solo Tokyo Dome show, following 2019 and 2023, and their first Japan-exclusive stage in nearly three years. Ahead of the concert dates, major department stores and shopping malls across Japan launched relay pop-up stores celebrating ‘BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR DEADLINE,’ while LOFT locations nationwide are also running pop-ups featuring tour merchandise.

BLACKPINK is currently in the middle of their 16-city, 33-show ‘BLACKPINK WORLD TOUR DEADLINE.’ After kicking off in July at Goyang Stadium and completing successful North American and European legs, the group has now moved into the Asia portion of the tour, continuing to meet global fans.
