CRAVITY’s Allen will take the stage as an MC for a global event.
On December 3 KST, the Asia Artist Awards (AAA) announced that Allen will host the 10th-anniversary AAA festival ACON 2025, set to take place on December 7 at the National Stadium in Kaohsiung. Known as an all-rounder through his songwriting, composing, and years of talk-show hosting, Allen is drawing attention as he steps onto a global stage as an MC for the first time since debut.
Through Starship Entertainment, Allen shared his thoughts: “I’m truly honored and excited to take on the role of MC for such a big event. I’m grateful to the AAA team for the opportunity, and I’ll do my best so that both the artists and all the audience members can create joyful and memorable moments through ACON 2025. I hope our LUVITY will also look forward to seeing this new side of me.”
The festival ACON 2025 is being held as a companion event to the 10th Anniversary Asia Artist Awards 2025, which takes place on December 6 at the same venue.
Born in Taipei, Allen is expected to use his fluent local language skills to connect not only with local fans but also with global K-pop audiences attending the event, adding energy and warmth to the celebration. His experience hosting Arirang TV’s K-pop talk show After School Club for nearly three years, where he communicated actively with global fans, further raises expectations for his performance.
Allen serves as CRAVITY’s main dancer and lead rapper, showcasing skill in dance, rap, and vocals. He has steadily built his musical portfolio through songwriting and rap-making, including contributing lyrics for the title track “Now or Never” and the B-side “Horizon” from the group’s December single album 'FIND THE ORBIT'.
He further solidified his presence by participating in the lyrics for eight tracks on CRAVITY’s second full-length album Dare to Crave, including the title track “SET NET G0?!”, as well as “On My Way”, “Rendez-vous”, and “PARANOIA”. In October, the album’s epilogue release even included his self-written song “Everyday”, highlighting his growing creative influence.
With his activities spanning music, content, radio, and MC work, news of Allen’s selection as MC for ACON 2025 has heightened anticipation among fans at home and abroad. Many are eager to see what new charms he will show in his first global MC role.
ACON 2025 will take place on December 7 at the Kaohsiung National Stadium, while CRAVITY will perform on both December 6 at the 10th Anniversary AAA 2025 and again at ACON 2025.
