Kang Seung Yoon of WINNER has unveiled a behind-the-scenes documentary capturing the making of his second full-length solo album 'PAGE 2,' released approximately four years and seven months after his previous solo work. The film, released on November 10 KST, offers an intimate look at the artist’s dedication, struggles, and creative process throughout the album’s production.
Containing 13 self-produced tracks, 'PAGE 2' serves as a reflection of Kang Seung Yoon’s personal artistry. He described the project by saying, “It feels like an album that truly carries my name. Every part of it, from start to finish, represents my taste and meaning.” The documentary highlights his tireless efforts to balance public expectations with his own musical direction—recording multiple takes to perfect each song. “I wanted to persuade people by showing the kind of music I genuinely want to make and love,” he expressed.
According to YG Entertainment, Kang Seung Yoon took charge of nearly every aspect of the album, from visual directing and concept planning to promotion and design. The documentary shows him attending design meetings, reviewing physical album samples, and offering detailed input on layout, color palettes, and paper textures—showcasing his deep involvement and commitment to authenticity.
Emphasizing the theme of “multi-dimensionality,” Kang Seung Yoon sought to express different sides of himself through this album. During the jacket photoshoot, he experimented with varied visual styles and creative directions to embody that concept. “I want people to connect with the many facets of who I am,” he shared. “I hope 'PAGE 2' becomes a stepping stone for my next chapter.”
Released on November 3, 'PAGE 2' received praise for its emotional depth and diverse sound palette. The album topped iTunes Album Charts in eight regions, further solidifying his growth as a versatile solo artist. Kang Seung Yoon is currently promoting the release through music shows, radio appearances, and YouTube content, continuing to strengthen his bond with fans worldwide.
