AHOF (Jeongwoo, JL, Steven, Juwon, Daisuke, Woongki, Han, Shuaibo, and Chih En) returned to the music scene for their first comeback, following the success of their debut mini-album ‘WHO WE ARE.’
‘The Passage’ marks the nine-member group’s second mini-album, and it consists of “Everything is Love,” “Run at 1.5x Speed,” “Pinocchio,” “Never Lose You,” and “The Sleeping Diary.”
allkpop had the opportunity to sit down with the members once again, this time talking about their new project and some fun topics, including the hair color they’d like to try.

allkpop: What's the core message you'd like to deliver with ‘The Passage’?
Woongki: Personally, I think the main theme of AHOF, just like our debut album, is “Sincerity.” If that sincerity reaches people, I believe we’ll be able to share AHOF’s story on a deeper level.
allkpop: Your debut album was well received. Did you expect success? And how do you deal with the pressure of "outdoing" yourselves or when it comes to making your performances "perfect"?
Han: Well, I don’t know if other members agree with me, but for me, I think we need some pressure to make a perfect performance. That helps me a lot and that gives me energy to make it even better too.
allkpop: This marks your first-ever comeback. What are the biggest lessons you've learned from your journey so far?
Jeongwoo; I realized more than ever that “confidence” is everything! Doing everything with confidence gives a good result. I really learned this lesson.
allkpop: There might be times when you misunderstand each other. How do you approach that kind of situation despite the differences?
Steven: When there are clashes, I try to listen before reacting. For me, unity isn’t about thinking the same, it’s about choosing to move forward together even when we don’t. I think that’s how we grow.
allkpop: If you could swap lives with a member for a day, who would it be and why?
Jeongwoo: I want to be Juwon because I want to do freestyle dance just like him.
Woongki: You can do it right now! (laughs)
Jeongwoo: You know, playing any music and dancing on that beat.
JL: For me, Jeongwoo. I think I’ve answered this one before, and it’s still the same. I want to live with his body and then see how to live like him.
Steven: For me it is JL because I want to know what it feels like to live as the third most handsome K-pop idol.
Juwon: I want to be Steven! My goal is to take a “workout complete” photo after finishing at the gym, just like him!
Woongki: You can do it right now! (laughs)
Daisuke: In my case, Han. I want to sing every song that I want with his voice.
JL: You can do it right now! (laughs)
Woongki: I’ll choose Shuaibo because he is too tall, he is different. I want to feel another air (fresh high air).
Shuaibo: You can do it right now! (laughs)
Han: I’d pick Juwon. I have never done anything like Juwon’s shining hairstyle. And because I want to try it, I want to change to Juwon.
Jeongwoo and Woongki: You can do it right now! (laughs)
Shuaibo: I want to be Jeongwoo...
JL: You can do it right now! (laughs)
Shuaibo: ...because he is really good at playing games. I want to be good at games.
allkpop: Which hair color would you like to try?
Han: Juwon’s color!
Jeongwoo: I want to try totally white or little whitish blonde hair.
Woongki: I really want to bleach my hair.
Han: I think it’s better to go for something that really stands out, rather than a subtle, brownish color.
Steven: Rainbow!
Han: That’s really too much!
Juwon: *mentions rainbow colors*
Han: Maybe colors like white or Juwon’s hair color or Daisuke’s hair color, something that I can really show.
JL: For me, I don’t know if all suit me, but there’s a hair color called “Oreo.” It is black and then blonde highlights, so I really want to try that as well. But not like this one. *points at Steven’s hair*
Steven: For me, I kind of want to try red side, like wine like Woongki or maybe bit redder. That kind of red in color.
Woongki: Let’s try it!
Han: You can do it right now!
Daisuke: I want to try pink or brown!
Juwon: I’ve always wanted to try pink hair, so I’m really happy that I finally got to do it this time. My goal now is to keep it as long as I can!
Shuaibo: Honestly, I have done all the colors that I wanted.
allkpop: If you were to be Santa Claus, who would be on the Nice/Naughty list?
JL: Everyone’s on the naughty list!
Steven: But I'm closer to the nice side.
Woongki: Then I would be Rudolph.
JL: But I think yes, everyone is on the naughty list, right?
Woongki and Juwon: Except me. Not me.
JL: Ok, then...only me.
Jeongwoo: Congratulations

Jeongwoo: Adorable (to JL)
JL: Charisma (to Steven)
Steven: Squirrel (to Juwon)

allkpop: If AHOF could go on a group vacation together, which country would you choose and why?
Woongki: Everywhere is fine!
Jeongwoo: I want to go to the galaxy all together.
JL: To the moon! To the star! But I think it would be fun to if we go out to travel to each other’s country. Going to each other’s country for work is fine but I think for travel and relaxing and chilling, it would be nice too.
Woongki: I think Korea would be great (for a vacation).
